Healing is impossible in loneliness; it is the opposite of loneliness
Through community volunteering, participants in Drug Accountability Court experience the healing power of being a positive force in the world. Each graduate of the program plans and implements a community outreach project, completing a minimum of 40 hours of service work benefiting the local community and spreading the hope found in recovery.
In 2015, two participants teamed up to grow a vegetable garden for charity. Over several months, they grew enough food to donate over 100 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables to MUST Ministries in Canton. In 2016, another participant replicated this success with another charity garden.
